SUMMARY:Quantization of heat flow in the fractional quantum Hall effects
DESCRIPTION:Mitali joined the EPFL in the beginning of 2020\, setting up a
low-temperature transport group. She is interested in correlated states th
at appear\, for example\, in the fractional quantum Hall state. She has do
ne pioneering work in low-temperature heat transport. She has a Master fro
m Calcutta University\, a PhD in Physics from the S. N. Bose National Cent
re for Basic Sciences\, Kolkata. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the Indi
an Institute of Science\, Bangalore and then for five years at the group o
f Motty Heiblum at the Weizmann Institute of Science\, Rehovot. In Sept. 2
018 she became an Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University\, Ne
y York and was then successful in a search at EPFL. \\r\\nThe lecture will
be given live in the lecture hall "Neuer Hörsaal\, Foyer Physik". Accord
ing to Corona rules a certain number of persons are admitted to join in th
e lecture room. So please\, do not hesitate to join in real.\\r\\nThe talk
