The UpQuantVal Consortium and NCCR SPIN warmly invite interested participants to join two upcoming events at the Department of Physics, University of Basel: The UpQuantVal and NCCR SPIN Quantum Industry Chat on September 10 and the UpQuantVal Scientific Meeting on September 11.

The Quantum Industry Chat will bring together industry representatives, policymakers, scientists, startups, innovators, and interested members of the public to explore the quantum ecosystem, innovation landscape, and industry potential in the Upper Rhine region. The event will feature introductory talks on quantum computing, quantum sensing, and quantum communication; a session on education and training opportunities in quantum skills for industry; a panel discussion on strengthening the quantum ecosystem; startup and company pitches; an industry exhibition; lab visits; and an apéro and networking reception.
