On April 24, 2026, the Department of Physics at the University of Basel opened its doors for Industry Night 2026. Over 780 interested visitors from the region had the unique opportunity to experience firsthand the exciting connection between fundamental research and industrial applications.

The diverse program included interactive experiments, live demonstrations of cutting-edge lab technology, and conversations with researchers. Guests were particularly fascinated by the insights into the laboratories and the department’s high-tech infrastructure.
