After his PhD, he researched at Inria (Paris) and, since 2026, at IBM Research in Rüschlikon. His work focuses on quantum computing, error correction, and algorithms at the intersection of physics, computer science, and applied mathematics. In February 2027, he will join the University of Basel as a tenure-track assistant professor, part of the NCCR SPIN initiative. His office will be at the DMI.
